The title and location of the next Symposium of the Fourth Biennial Hamad bin Khalifa Symposium on Islamic Art, a leading international conference on Islamic art co-sponsored by Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts, VCUQatar and the Qatar Foundation, was "God Is Beautiful - He Loves Beauty", held at the new Museum of Islamic Art (designed by I.M. Pei) October 29-31, 2011 in Doha, Qatar where twelve experts in Islamic art and culture gave original papers on objects in the Museum's collection.
